We have three mission trips currently planned for 2019
Sesto Calende, Italy (outside of Milan)
Thursday May 3rd- May 12th (fly overnight Thursday to arrive Friday morning. Dates may adjust a day earlier/later depending on flight prices). Flying in and out of Milan.
People in Italy need Jesus. There is a lot of darkness in Europe and the old world religiosity is on the decline and progressive thought is on the rise. Italy (and Spain) and considered “missionary graveyards” because so many get burnt out because it takes a long time time for people to come to Christ. Less than 1% of Italians believe the Gospel and though challenging, church planting is the most successful ministry model.
Vision: The vision of this trip is to
- Grow deeper awareness of work in Sesto Calende
- Strengthen the bond between The Lukers and The Bridge Montrose
- Mutual edification and encouragement between American and Italian believers
- Broaden the church's impact by building new strategies and initiatives as well as working with current efforts and avenues
- Plant seeds on truth and stimulate faith curiosity among local non-believers

EastWest tripsare evangelism focused as we partner with local believers to reach their communities for Christ.
But evangelism is only the beginning. Our national partners follow up with every new believer to equip them to grow in their faith, and share with others, creating an unending chain of impact.
Prior to departure, each trip participant spends nine hours with our staff learning about the culture and how to best reach the region they are serving with the gospel. East-West plans all travel, lodging and ministry logistics. Your congregation simply gives God their “yes” to serve overseas.
We are currently working to select a date and location for the Fall of 2019, partnering with another local church. If you are interested, reach out to Karen Campbell and we can work with your preferred dates/location
